Volleyball Recap: Boone Grove Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Boone Grove and South Adams squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Boone Grove had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Starfires. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Boone Grove had strong showings from Lauren Voudrie, who had 23 digs and one assist, and Olivia Fleck, who had 16 digs and two aces. Fleck has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Boone Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for South Adams, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

Boone Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Adams, after both having extra time off, they and Lakeland will shake off the rust and duke it out at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
