Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Loss Ends Boone Grove's Winning Streak

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Boone Grove couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the South Adams Starfires on Saturday. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Boone Grove had strong showings from Lauren Voudrie, who had 23 digs and one assist, and Olivia Fleck, who had 16 digs and two aces. Fleck has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

South Adams found their leader in sophomore Charlee Bollenbacher, who had ten digs and one assist.

Boone Grove's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for South Adams, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

Boone Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Adams, after both having extra time off, they and Lakeland will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
