There's no place like home for Roswell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Clovis Wildcats on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

The result came thanks to Yadira Aragon's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bella Ornelas was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Debanhi Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Roswell's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Clovis, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-24.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roswell beat the Wildcats by a score of 10-0 later that day.
