Basketball Recap: Aman Sterling's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Inglemoor over Issaquah

Inglemoor lost against Issaquah back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Inglemoor Vikings took a 71-56 bruising from the Issaquah Eagles. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Inglemoor lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aman Sterling, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 18 points and six boards. The match was Sterling's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards.

Inglemoor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Issaquah, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Inglemoor will challenge Evergreen at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Issaquah, they will host Hazen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Issaquah is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
