Basketball Recap: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy last Saturday, Decatur Heritage Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles lost 73-47 to the Jasper Vikings on Monday.

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Jasper, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Decatur Heritage Christian Academy will head out to take on Tanner at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Tanner will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Decatur Heritage Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jasper, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dora at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Jasper's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
