Soccer Recap: Kent-Meridian Comes Up Short

Kent-Meridian fell victim to Bellarmine Prep and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Kent-Meridian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Bellarmine Prep are ranked 35th).

Kent-Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-7. As for Bellarmine Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Kent-Meridian nor Bellarmine Prep have any future games scheduled.
