Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss

Piedmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Head-Royce Jayhawks. The Highlanders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Jayhawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-16.

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Head-Royce, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Piedmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Berkeley on the 22nd. As for Head-Royce, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against College Prep on the 23rd.
