Softball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for River Valley

Ten must be River Valley's lucky number: they beat La Crosse Logan with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Blackhawks beat the Rangers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-5. The win was nothing new for the Blackhawks as they're now sitting on three straight.

River Valley's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 9.2 runs this season. As for La Crosse Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, River Valley will square off against Waterloo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for La Crosse Logan, they will welcome Holmen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Rangers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
