With a playoff win on the line, Cuthbertson rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Myers Park Mustangs. The win was familiar territory for the Cavaliers, who have now won three games in a row.

Cuthbertson's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Myers Park, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-8.
