Basketball Recap: New Richmond Takes a Loss

New Richmond came up into this matchup off a tough 36-point loss last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Clermont Northeastern Rockets by a score of 30-27 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now lost four in a row.

New Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Clermont Northeastern, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the New Richmond Lions take on the Bethel-Tate Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clermont Northeastern, they will take on Roger Bacon at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
