Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smyrna). They were the clear victors by a 26-1 margin over the LaVergne Wolverines on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the game before.

Smyrna's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for LaVergne, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

When Smyrna and LaVergne next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Smyrna will take on Saint Ignatius College Prep and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, LaVergne will try to stop Cookeville's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
