After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Trinity Presbyterian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-3 margin over the Montgomery Catholic Knights. Considering the Wildcats have won three matches by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Marley Sharpless made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off 12 hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
