Softball Recap: Prescott Takes a Loss

Prescott lost against Genoa Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Curley Wolves lost 10-4 to the Dragons.

Prescott has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Genoa Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prescott will face off against rival Ashdown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Genoa Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Smackover at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Dragons have won seven straight at home, while the Buckaroos won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
