Union County was the 44-42 winner over Franklin County when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Union County Patriots took a hard 49-32 fall against the Franklin County Wildcats on Wednesday. The match marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Union County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Grady Coyle, who went 6 of 13 en route to 12 points and six rebounds. Aidan Vauthier also deserves some recognition as he scored his first point of the season.

As for Franklin County, they will welcome East Central at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin County is facing East Central at the right time seeing as East Central is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
