Soccer Game Preview: Harbor Creek vs. Fairview

The Harbor Creek Huskies will head out to take on the Fairview Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Harbor Creek is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Harbor Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Pennsylvania's top teams: Cathedral Prep, who was ranked 15th at the time (Harbor Creek was ranked 12th). The Huskies' defense stepped up to hand the Ramblers a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. Harbor Creek wouldn't have won without Luke Fox, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Fairview got the win against Girard on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. Give Fairview's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Harbor Creek's record now sits at 10-1-1. As for Fairview, their record is now 13-0.

Harbor Creek couldn't quite get it done against Fairview in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
