Delano had already won 17 in a row and they went ahead and made it 18 on Friday. They came out on top against the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Caitlin Champeau paced Delano's offense, picking up six kills. Champeau got some help from Alexis Champeau and her 20 assists. Sydney Pink controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Delano's win bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Grand Rapids, they moved to 15-6 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Delano wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against River Falls on the 11th. As for Grand Rapids, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hibbing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
