             The Flagstaff Eagles will stay at home for another  week and welcome the Copper Canyon Aztecs at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Copper Canyon took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Flagstaff, who comes in off a win.
 Last Friday, Flagstaff beat Desert Sunrise 22-12.
 Flagstaff's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Chase Brown led the charge by throwing for 213 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 46 yards. The dominant performance gave  Brown a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Jadon Wetzel was another key back, gaining 142 total yards and a touchdown.
 Flagstaff's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Brady Corcoran. Flagstaff got some further help from  Ethan Suda: he picked up  1.5  sacks and made seven total tackles.
 Meanwhile, Copper Canyon entered their  match against Mingus  on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Copper Canyon was  outmatched by Mingus at home  and fell  39-7. The Aztecs' loss continues a  trend for the  team, making it three in a row.
 Flagstaff's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Copper Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
