On Wednesday, Penns Valley Area was fully in charge, breezing past Mount Union 85-30. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Forest Hills on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Bedford out of the water with a 72-36 final score. Given the Rangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Bisons are ranked 407th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Penns Valley Area's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Forest Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Penns Valley Area took a serious blow against Forest Hills in their previous matchup back in February, falling 74-36. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 46-18.
