Basketball Game Preview: New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners vs. Wagon Mound Trojans

The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Wagon Mound Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Mexico School for the Deaf is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, New Mexico School for the Deaf took a blow against Springer, falling 72-43. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 448th, while the Red Devils are ranked 119th).

Meanwhile, Wagon Mound had to suffer through a 76-44 loss at the hands of Cimarron. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wagon Mound's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

New Mexico School for the Deaf took their victory against Wagon Mound in their previous meeting back in December of 2017 by a conclusive 53-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Mexico School for the Deaf since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
