Volleyball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County lost against Wilson Prep on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-13.

Wilson Prep found their leader in sophomore My Angel Brimage, who had six kills and four aces. Brimage is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Washington County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wilson Prep, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Washington County is set to take on their familiar foe North Edgecombe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wilson Prep will square off against rival North East Carolina Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
