Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Has No Trouble Against Environmental Charter

There's no place like home for St. Joseph, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Environmental Charter Hawks on Friday as the St. Joseph Spartans made off with a 58-38 win. The contest marked the Spartans' most dominant victory of the season so far.

When it comes to explaining why Environmental Charter lost, don't look at Caleb Dalton. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Tyler Hurst, who put up seven points.

The win got St. Joseph back to even at 3-3. As for Environmental Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, St. Joseph and Western Beaver will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. St. Joseph is facing Western Beaver at the right time seeing as Western Beaver is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Environmental Charter, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Neighborhood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
