Gloucester has gone 8-0-2 against Woodside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Dukes will venture away from home to take on the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Gloucester is headed into the matchup having not lost since April 22 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Heritage get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. Gloucester haven't had any issues with Heritage recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Gloucester's offense was hitting Heritage from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. KJ Wolford led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodside). They put the hurt on Manor with a sharp 12-0 win on Friday. Given Woodside's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Manor are ranked 281st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Woodside and bumps their season record up to 9-4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those two contests. As for Gloucester, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1-1.

Gloucester beat Woodside 2-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dukes since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
