Football Game Preview: Waterbury Career Academy vs. Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT

Waterbury Career Academy will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT at 7:00 PM. Waterbury Career Academy are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.

Last Friday, Waterbury Career Academy couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 6-55 defeat at the hands of Ansonia. Waterbury Career Academy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-49.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart/Kaynor RVT had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They and Kennedy were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 20-21 loss.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
