Baseball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crystal City Javelinas. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ro-Hawks of the 10-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Randolph now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Crystal City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph will face off against Nixon-Smiley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crystal City, they will take on Bandera at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
