Softball Recap: Honoka'a Dragons vs. Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors
Honoka'a managed to slip by Kamehameha Hawai'i the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Dragons lost 20-10 to the Warriors on Monday. While the Dragons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 6-2 in the first period.
Jaycia Silva and Teighan Marcelino did some serious damage despite the final result: Silva went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI, while Marcelino went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Agdeppa, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Honoka'a's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Kamehameha Hawai'i, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
