Softball Recap: Hesperia Christian Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Hesperia Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the St. Monica Mariners on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Eden Skinner was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Riley Piorkowski, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Hesperia Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for St. Monica, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Hesperia Christian nor St. Monica have any future games scheduled.
