Soccer Recap: Omak Comes Up Short

Omak came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 6-1 to the Cascade Kodiaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Cascade this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in March.

Omak's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Cascade, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omak will venture away from home to challenge Chelan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chelan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last. As for Cascade, they will head out on the road to square off against Manson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Manson's last seven matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
