Basketball Recap: Weber Takes a Loss

Weber was the 53-44 winner over Farmington when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Weber Warriors lost 51-29 to the Farmington Phoenix on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Weber lost, don't look at Rylee Jugler. Despite the final result, she posted ten points and seven rebounds. Navy Frost also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Among those leading the charge was Morgan Rogers, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Makelle Weber, who had 13 points and six rebounds.

Weber's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Farmington, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Weber will take on Syracuse at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Weber surely won't give up without a fight. Farmington has already played their next match (against Fremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
