Baseball Recap: Keene Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Keene and Ponder squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Keene had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Keene's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Ponder, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-14.

Keene does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ponder, they will challenge Gunter on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 26th straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
