Lyman Hall is a perfect 7-0 against Bassick since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Lyman Hall's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.

Lyman Hall lost a heartbreaker the last time they played East Haven, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Trojans blew past the Yellowjackets 38-12 on Friday. 38 seems to be a good number for the Trojans as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Lyman Hall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Casey out in front who rushed for 85 yards and three scores, and also threw for 128 yards and one touchdown. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Casey a new career-high. Kevin Massaro was Casey's top target, picking up 11 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries.

Lyman Hall's run defense was locked in: East Haven could only muster 1.9 yards per carry. The Trojans didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.7.

Meanwhile, Bassick was beaten by Hillhouse 40-12 on Friday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Academics recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lyman Hall's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.3 points on average over those games. As for Bassick, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Lyman Hall's way against Bassick when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Lyman Hall made off with a 46-24 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
