Basketball Recap: Seymour Community Christian Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Apostolic Christian

Seymour Community Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 69-50 fall against Apostolic Christian. The defeat leaves Seymour Community Christian Academy still looking for their first win on the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Apostolic Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Garrett Jones, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Jones a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madon Bailey, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and six steals.

Seymour Community Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Apostolic Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.
