On the hitting side, Hope Christian got a big performance out of Luciano Gabaldon, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nolan Garcia, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Hope Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Bernalillo's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Hope Christian, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-6.

Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bernalillo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .441. However, it's not like Hope Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
