It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Kiski Area ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past the Armstrong River Hawks 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for Kiski Area as it spelled an end to their eight-match losing streak.

Kiski Area's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Armstrong, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
