Basketball Recap: Martensdale-St. Mary's Piles Up the Points Against East Union

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Treynor, Martensdale-St. Mary was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the East Union Eagles 63-29. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 31 points or more this season.

Martensdale-St. Mary's has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for East Union, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Martensdale-St. Mary's has already played their next contest (against Lenox), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. East Union will head out to take on Orient-Macksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
