Port Jervis' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 36-23 to Monticello. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Port Jervis in their matchups with Monticello: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Fallsburg's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. The contest between Fallsburg and Chester wasn't particularly close, with Fallsburg falling 33-14.
Port Jervis bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fallsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
