After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Florida Christian, Divine Savior Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over the JC Bermudez Doral Thunder. The Sharks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Divine Savior Academy found their leader in sophomore Emma Cerderio, who posted six points along with six boards and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Cerderio. Another player making a difference was Claudia Cardenas, who had six points and five rebounds.

Divine Savior Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 18 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Divine Savior Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for JC Bermudez Doral, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
