Soccer Recap: Estero Extends Winning Streak to Five

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Estero had no problem doing just that on Monday. They never let the Lely Trojans onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Lily Jason and Kellyn Rivas scored all three of Estero's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

The victory (which was Estero's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matchups. As for Lely, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9-2.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Estero face off against the Barron Collier at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lely does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
