Loris is 8-2 against Georgetown since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Loris Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Georgetown Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Loris comes in on five and Georgetown on four.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Loris beat Waccamaw 63-57.

Meanwhile, Georgetown strolled past Marlboro County with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 62-48.

Loris better keep an eye on Amos Jones. He was instrumental in Georgetown's win, putting up 25 points and eight steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ean Mitchell, who posted nine points.

Loris now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Georgetown, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Loris strolled past Georgetown when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 70-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loris since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
