Football Game Preview: Nashua South Purple Panthers vs. Nashua North Titans

A classic North v. South matchup is on the schedule. The Nashua South Purple Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Nashua North Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nashua North took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Nashua South, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Nashua South was fully in charge, breezing past Goffstown 43-8.

Meanwhile, Nashua North faced Merrimack in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Titans took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tomahawks. The loss put an end to the Titans' undefeated start to the season.

Nashua South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Nashua North, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Nashua South against Nashua North in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Purple Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
