Horizon Science Academy proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Cristo Rey Cougar by a goal, winning 5-4. Winning may never get old, but Horizon Science Academy sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Horizon Science Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1-1. As for Cristo Rey, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon Science Academy will venture away from home to challenge Logan at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cristo Rey, they will head out to square off against Bishop Ready at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cristo Rey's defense better be ready for this one: Bishop Ready have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
