Perryville was not the first on the board  on Monday, but they got there more often. They blew past the Havre de Grace Warriors 7-1. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Taegan Spier made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   six  hits (and only one walk). Spier was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. She is  on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  got three or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Julianna Reffit and  Taylor McGuirk did most of the damage at the plate:  Reffit  went a perfect 1-for-1 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  McGuirk  went 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Reffit a new career-high.
 Perryville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in five consecutive  matches.
Perryville's record is now 7-9. As for Havre de Grace, their defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 15-5.
 Coming up, Perryville will face off against Harford Tech at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Cobras' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Havre de Grace does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
