Clover has gone a perfect 10-0 against Northwestern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blue Eagles will head out to square off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Clover is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Northwestern better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Clover's game last Tuesday is any indication, that's when Clover really gets things going. Everything went the Blue Eagles' way against Fort Mill as they made off with a 5-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Clover.

Their offense was hitting Fort Mill from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to Fort Mill. While losing is never fun, Northwestern can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Fort Mill are ranked 33rd).

Clover pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Clover took their win against Northwestern when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
