Westside has gone 6-1 against County Line recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Westside Rebels will face off against the County Line Indians at 4:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Westside came up short against Greenland and fell 28-23. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, County Line gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 11-2 margin over Cedarville.

Virginia Besier was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Besier was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katelynn Sarten, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Olivia Reames was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Everything went Westside's way against County Line in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Westside made off with a 13-5 win. Will Westside repeat their success, or does County Line have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
