The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sherman/Ripley, who took down 159th ranked Sherman/Ripley, 34-21.
Clymer Central's Matt DeStevens rumbled for the longest rushing play in Section 6 DD this season in his game against Panama last week. DeStevens ran for 98 yards on the play and finished with 133 on the day as his team topped the Panthers.
Panama's dynamic duo of Bryce Payne and Stephen Enlow proved tough for Clymer Central to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Payne threw for 25 yards and Enlow had 41 yards receiving. Rob Benson helped Panama's passing attack out by catching two balls for five yards.
Jake Wiggers was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 238 yards as David Bodamer's team lost to David Bodamer's team.
Panama's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Payne has thrown for 229 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Kelvin Eddy has three catches for 90 yards. Enlow leads the league in rushing with 605 yards.
A big matchup in Section 6 DD this week will be when the Wildcats take on Franklinville. Sherman/Ripley is currently in first, while the Panthers are in third.
The Pirates extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Panthers, 55-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the Clymer Central.
