Football Recap: Charlotte Country Day School Piles Up the Points Against Christ the King

The Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past the Christ the King Crusaders 35-7. The Buccaneers pushed the score to 35-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders cut but never quite recovered from.

A big part of Charlotte Country Day School's win came down to the chemistry between Achilles Morales and his top target Braylon Clark. Morales threw for 259 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes while Clark picked up 202 receiving yards and three scores. Those 202 receiving yards gave Clark a new career-high.

Charlotte Country Day School didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jabari Spruill.

Charlotte Country Day School has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
