Center Place snaps four-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Center Place vs. Heartland Mustangs
Center Place won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were dealt a 67-29 loss at the hands of Heartland. It was the first time this season that Center Place let down their fans at home.
Leading Heartland to victory were Diego Martinez and Jayce Maiden. Martinez scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Maiden scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Stone, who scored 13 points.
Center Place's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2. As for Heartland, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center Place will take on Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heartland, they will be playing at home against El Dorado Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. El Dorado Christian is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
