Flag Football Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Wilcox

Wilcox's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They took down the Torres Toros 24-8. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Chargers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 524th, while the Toros are ranked 241st).

Wilcox's win bumped their record up to 6-9-2. As for Torres, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8.

Coincidentally, Wilcox and Torres will both be playing Madera the next time they take the field. The Chargers will head out to face the Coyotes at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Toros will host them at 7:15 p.m. on October 14.
