Baseball Recap: Hidalgo Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Robstown, Hidalgo was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hidalgo's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Hidalgo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Economedes on the 6th. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-8 loss against Laredo LBJ on the 6th.
