While Sipsey Valley put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for South Lamar. Everything went the Sipsey Valley Bears' way against the South Lamar Stallions as the Sipsey Valley Bears made off with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won four in a row.

Elijah MEarEs tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elliott Lyons, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was John-Logan Hooper, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Sipsey Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Sipsey Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-5.
