Basketball Recap: Olympic Heights Skates Past Spanish River with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Olympic Heights over Spanish River in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Olympic Heights Lions blew the Spanish River Sharks out of the water with a 64-35 final score. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Jake Harbatkin was his usual excellent self, going 5 for 9 to rack up 16 points and five rebounds. The contest was his seventh in a row with at least 16 points. Garrett Schwartz was another key player, putting up nine points.

Spanish River's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devan Degiuseppe, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Adam G, who had seven points.
